Kurt Steven Angle (born on December 9, 1968) is an American professional wrestler and 1996 Olympic gold medalist. He is perhaps best known for his time in World Wrestling Entertainment, where he became a six time world champion winning the WWE Championship four times, the World Heavyweight Championship once, and the WCW Championship once, and for his time in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling where he has won the TNA World Heavyweight Championship twice. He is currently under contract with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling.
